Owner Ryan Schaad

Ryan entered the cabinetry business in 1996. Working for a cabinetmaker, Ryan discovered his natural talent and quickly fell in love with the art of woodworking. His intense passion for the industry fueled the journey to open his own cabinet shop. Five years later, his dream became reality, as he started business out of his own garage.

 

Today, Schaad and Sons, Inc. is located in McConnelsville, OH, where Ryan and his wife, Jessica, live and raise their four children. What started in his garage over a decade ago has grown into a complete manufacturing facility and showroom, employing a skilled staff of experienced craftsmen. Though the company has earned great success as expected perhaps from a large business, the small business model is evident in the detailed attention from Ryan himself. He personally works with each home and it’s owner to ensure their satisfaction. His work is completely customized, from the initial design and layout, to the hand-finished, high-quality, solid woods used in every project.

 

Ryan’s dedication to his belief in the personal appeal and appreciation for fine, handcrafted woodwork has shaped Schaad and Sons’ philosophy… Rooms should not simply contain furniture, but should be furniture themselves.
